CW Draft League

Eyes not spreadsheets
If you're doing that why not have it so each member of the draft selects a category for the round they pick first in and then make it up with a free for all at the end?

Cheers KK. Really not sure what balance to go with, with Grace very capable of bowling, and Walcott very capable of taking the gloves. Maybe one more bowling option in the top 7 to share the fifth bowling with Grace.

I would personally just leave Grace as the permanent fifth bowler

I agree. In his ATG England team Bradman preferred Grace to Botham as the allrounder batting at No.6

I thought Bradman's lineup was....

Morris
Richards
Bradman
Tendulkar
Sobers
Tallon
Lindwall
Lillee
Bedser
O'Reilly
Grimmett

Unless you're talking about Bradman's ashes XI? Although I don't think Grace made that either tbh

I don't mind this XI as much as some people do, but the selection of Bedser surprises me (although I rate him very highly).

Tallon batting at 6 is ridiculous imo. Lindwall was a better batsman than him (clearly). I fail to understand why Bradman didn't select Miller in place of Bedser, and avoid the ridiculous tail his team has...

Sorry mate, no way was Lindwall a better batsman than Tallon :p I can only assume you say that having only considered test match averages. Tallon at 6 is obviously a questionable call though.

Bradman was certainly not Miller's greatest fan, something that I can't help but think affected his decision

Maybe Bradman was put off Miller because of his habitual womenising. It would certainly go against his grain.

Really happy with the way my bowling attack is developing here. Will pose plenty of challenges to an opposition line-up
