Cricinfo always seems to write an article right after the topic it's on has been discussed numerous times on CW.

Haha yeah, it's pretty amusing and I really don't think it's usually a coincidence either, although this time it just might be given the discussion here and the article were both essentially reactions to the whitewash.

That said, if you wrote articles for cricinfo, wouldn't you scout internet forums for potential topic ideas?

Precisely. Unless a regular poster here is already working undercover for Cricinfo... Would explain the number of times Rob's videos get mentioned there as well

Who do you think is the fittest guy in cricket at the moment?

Has to be a fast bowler (probably Steyn). Not too sure though.

Lol, Shane Watto as example for fitness = epic fail.
Firstly, there's a difference between structural damage and muscular damage. In cricket, one tends to be related to technique, and the other is much more likely to occur due to conditioning (or lack of). Watson encountered pretty much the first during most of his career, and was what held him back.

Secondly, he's been pretty durable over the past 36 months, enduring probably the heaviest workload of the Australian players.

Indeed. Back stress fractures every two years from 14 onwards. Ouch.

For a long time he was training too hard, cut back and his injuries dropped off dramatically.
