Ashes Draft

kingkallis

International Coach
This is an Ashes draft and people should concentrate on the Ashes performance only. I have and will pick players on their Ashes performance only.

Why Neil Harvey was not picked earlier in that particular round? Even Bill Lawry and Peter May were picked ahead of him.

Everyone is in fact picking their team on Ashes performance.

What about the next series Blakus? If we're only doing one from the 30s and 40s, can I nominate Bodyline (1932-3)?

Before I start round 7, I'd just like to know whether people are fine with Bradman being banned. Would you guys like me to re-instate him or keep him unavailable?

Yeah, keep him banned. Just reduces from the rest of the game by being an obvious first pick.

(Yes I know I picked him in the other game)

Fair enough.

There were many great series in the 30/40's era. Australia's great comeback of 1936/37 or the Invincibles tour of 48 in which one of the greatest teams of all time stepped onto the field.
For all this though, there is only one series I could pick, in my mind the most influential cricket series of all-time.

For round 7 we have the Bodyline series of 1932/33

This is too hard.

I have a massive tail if my number 8 can't bat and I need a keeper but the best players are either batsman or bowlers who can't bat that well.
