Cons:
- Lacking an extra specialist batsman.

Pros:
- Pretty strong bowling attack.
- Lots of allrounders to compensate for the shortage of specialist batsmen.
- 12th man has an awesome name.

Cricketer Of The Year
I'll post my final XI below. I decided on including my final selection, De Freitas, ahead of Rackemann in my XI with his greater international experience and better batting ability (10 FC centuries). I'm pleased with my bowling attack which has a very fine leader in Tate and good back-up. Batting a bit lean in the middle order with players averaging around the mid-low 30s. Hutton obviously the key to making big totals.

Sir Leonard Hutton (c) RHB (79 tests, 6971 runs @ 56.67)
Grant Flower RHB SLA (67 tests, 3457 runs @ 29.54, 25 wickets @ 61.48)
Billy Murdoch RHB (19 tests, 908 runs @ 31.31)
Saeed Ahmed RHB OS (41 tests, 2991 runs @ 40.41, 22 wickets @ 36.45)
David Hookes LHB (23 tests, 1306 runs @ 34.36)
Les Ames (wk) RHB (47 tests, 2434 runs @ 40.56, 74 catches and 23 stumpings)
Keith Arthurton LHB (33 tests, 1382 runs @ 30.71)
Bapu Nadkarni LHB SLA (41 tests, 1414 runs @ 25.70, 88 wickets @ 29.07)
Maurice Tate RHB RFM (39 tests, 1198 runs @ 25.48, 155 wickets @ 26.16)
Phillip De Freitas RHB RFM (44 tests, 934 runs @ 14.82, 140 wickets @ 33.57)
Reggie Schwarz RHB RM/OS (20 tests, 374 runs @ 13.85, 55 wickets @ 25.76)

12th man: Carl Rackemann RHB RF (12 tests, 53 runs @ 5.29, 39 wickets @ 29.15)
