*Official* New Zealand in India 2010

Australia got 4 tests against India 2008!

It's best to not even think of the 2 tests that were recently played as a regular series. Imagine it as a bonus.

Also, does anyone else find it slightly odd that New Zealand get three Tests against India, but Australia don't?
Newzealand are touring India after a long long time, while Australia seem to be over here every year or couple of years.

Besides the Australia series was supposed to be a ODI series ahead of the WC which was transformed into a couple of tests as well.

Sehwag barely scored any runs against Australia and India still won 2-0.

Stopping Sehwag is important, but you need to do more than that.
Yeah!!
Stopping Sehwag and Sachin together is the key if you want success against India at the moment.
Even then though your chances increase dramatically, you are not guaranteed a result.

India is short on pacers and Zaheer happens to be our only above average one, Zaheer's law dictates that for every two test matches he plays, He has to be injured for atleast four matches. Vettori and Ryder are class batsman and will be hard to dismiss with our out-of-form, joke attack.

NZ's series, really.

Hehe, how rather annoying. Did India not just beat Australia a few days ago? The same Australian team that came to New Zealand six months ago and demolished them.

India 3-0 and it wont even be close, the bowling attack New Zealand are likely to play come the first test would struggle to pick up 10 wickets during the course of the test let alone 20.

Roll on the spinners and watch the top 3 crumble.

Taylor, Ryder, Vettori and maybe Williamson (very very early days for him) are the only batsmen worth much. Thank God they're awesome or we'd be even worse than we are.

All i was talking about is how to stop Sehwag. Not whether stopping Sehwag = beating India.

In McKay's case it isn't true, he'd struggle to bowl any quicker than high 130's. Bennett it's a bit more uncertain, but I don't imagine he'd be able to sustain the low-mid 140's pace he showed yesterday for more than one spell, after which he'd drop back down. In either case, he's too eratic the build the kind of pressure that we'd need. Sehwag and Tendulkar will make mincemeat of him./
Well based on this, then that certainly will be the case. Another blazing Sehwag innings on a flat pitch againts a joke attacks awaits.
