I'll go with Hammond just ahead of Headley who I'll vote for at 5. Both have incredible records in that era.

Some real talent here, the GG might just be the best of the lot, but I can't go past Hammond. I always thought it was Ernest Tyldesley?:unsure:

His full name is George Ernest Tyldesley, however I should have said Ernest as this is what is was known by (first post amended) ;)

I think we all recognise the Black Bradman's greatness, which will become apparent when we walks in the no.5 poll. :)
