haha i almost thought you copy & pasted my selection, but just saw the pathan for vaas substitution. i'd certainly love to see pathan in there, but i don't know if he'll get the nod over chaminda vaas.

Well Pathan is a good exponent of swing bowling...He is a good bet.... He would perhaps get the nod as he is the most promising player according to ICC....

    TEST:

    Andrew Strauss
    Graeme Smith
Andrew Hall (not being biased or anything, but check out the guy's stats)
    Brian Lara
    Sachin Tendulkar
    Rahul Dravid
    Jacques Kallis
    Andy Flintoff
    Shaun Pollock
    Kumar Sangakkara
    Irfan Pathan
    Muttiah Muralitharan

    ODI:
    Sachin Tendulkar
    Stephen Fleming
    Rahul Dravid
    Brian Lara
    Sourav Ganguly (C)
    Jaques Kallis
    Andy Flintoff
    Shaun Pollock
    Kumar Sangakkara
    Irfan Pathan
    Muttyiah Muralitharan

Reserve players: Harmison (as a bowler), Courtney Browne (smoothest keeper ever), Ram Sarwan (building up to be a 'wall', similar to Dravid).

At least its a bit different from the obvious choices.
USA Today finds that 3 out of 4 people make 75% of the population.

    Test XI

    Sehwag*
    Vaughan (c)
    Dravid
    Lara
    Tendulkar
    Sangakarra
    Flintoff
    Pollock
    Kumble
    Shoaib
    Murali

    * The only caveat is that I'd like to see Strauss against Australia in the Ashes. If he performs, I'd put him in for Sehwag.

Test batting average in the 20s... test bowling average in the 30s... 13 matches. Sorry, I don't see what is even remotely remarkable about those stats.

Also, your test team has 12 players.

I was just gonna see you people's response. Don't worry, I put down 12 players for a reason (See, when you take Hall out, it makes 11).

Good work, i hard a laugh
But u picked Sangakkara at 9 below Pollock, i gather ur South African, but come on, Sangakkara is a better bat then Pollock. It is still a pretty good side

First time I've read it, that's all. Bit rough on Warne. You must be a saint.
