Should hopefully win my next Cup game as long as some of my opponent's key players are still struggling a bit with their fitness. Will need to go GFI again, but why not? :) Hopefully will have another BatStats increase.
GFI for sure, tbh have GFI'd 4 of 4 OD games, PFL is still excellent, probably because none of my guns dont play FC.

Really feel bad for any of the Top 20 CW teams that are better than me by a distance yet not in the Cup. In all seriousness, every victory in it is for your teams. :)
Feel bad for getting knocked out. Though i got unlucky, wont happen next season, will PAN any of the maybe games. Made the top 64 or 32 last season, where i was knocked out by Newcastle Knights. Is my teams best moment thus far, to be knocked out of the cup as the bottom seed. Apart from when my team defended like 90 against Magical Ponies, that was fair gun.

I couldnt afford the 20k start of this season, still did it, and it payed off. Have had quite a few guns, probably one of the luckier teams. 4 of my bowlers are from my youth academy, and when they're all done with training, i will have an extremely decent bowling lineup. Only one of my batters is from my academy, but I have sold quite a few decent pulls.
Poke doesn't count, he was just another dud you decided to train.

Deadset feel like I've played NK before, if not me than my mate's team Haffy CC. Any easy way to check this? Or just go through the fixture archive?

EDIT: Or could've just drawn them before and had it changed.

What he is now is irrelevant, I'm discussing the merits of the YA and Poke was another dud YP. Because of your team situation yuou trained him, and fair enough he's good now, but that doesn't change he came out of the YA as a med-comp and even the worst teams probably wouldn't train that anymore.

There's also two teams called Newcastle Knights, one not being one of the best teams in Oz like the other one.

As for ITS, the only successes I've had using them were my first two, which gave me Canning and Tedstone, both of whom are still very much in the team as allrounders. Still invest in it, but whenever I start losing a bit of money it's the first thing to go. I think I really only do it to save myself from getting a non-ITS prof YP first week of the new season and quitting the game in frustration. Am still in the cup too, and the last page and a bit has made me more determined to stay in, so think I'll GFI my next one. Probably could scrape it on a PAN, cause I know he most likely won't GFI it, but I want the win.

ITS has given me Kealey, Loxley (sold), Hinshelwood (sold), Warnock, Clements and Bonner. Bardle was no ITS.

Same here. My biggest performers week in week out have been gun youth pulls especially in the batting and all rounder slots

Robert Bridges m (batting allrounder)
William Pidgely (FC captain and Medium pacer)
Justin Bissmire (Middle order bat)
Jermaine Steyn (Opener/Top order batsman)
Bill Cherry (Spin bowler)

Well and truly shafted by the cup draw, as usual with anything that's random in BT. Got cow corner at home.

If BT's engine was any good and the pitches made any real difference I could exploit their medium-pacer heavy bowling lineup. But obviously BT's engine is crap.

Cautiously looking like GFI is paying off.

Borderliners 181 all out (45.5)
Jack 52; Rock 3/31, Maidens 3/36 ( )

Dynamo Morpork 21 for one (5)
Virk 14, James 7*

Just lost the first wicket though...

Hak, I should have enough money to buy Lea back after the mid-season break (I have 200k atm, but he needs 42 days, and I wanna make sure I'm financially set :p).

Yep, no worries. If I were really trusting I'd list for 0 to avoid listing fee. :)

94 for nine now. Aggressive batting was stupid.

This is my team...thought it was about time I got some tips on who I should be training and in which areas. I've had Nkosinathi on a wicketkeeping net + batting for the last few weeks and his concentration just went up this week.

Pulled Stanway from the academy...am looking to get rid of him immediately  Bowling's a bit of a weakness (weaker than batting anyway). Looking to rectify that with a purchase or two in the near future. Have a couple of young spinners who are developing well I think - Wotton and Osborn. I also have no-one who can bat in the last 4 in the order. Something that would probably be rectified by giving them some batting nets. 10 nets are the most you can set right!?
