Cricket Web Battrick XI

F Watkins
G McCammon
S Cuss
J Duggan
U Jayasuriya
T Whitehorne
D Armstrong+
S Moodley
T Lee
J Lovegrove
G Bardle/J Graham

I reckon everyone apart from Armstrong is remarkable or above (correct me if i'm wrong.)

If you've got a remarkable or above, post him, and we can laugh at my glaring omission...

AussieDominance 20-09-2006 03:41 PM

remarkable just for bardle lol!

superkingdave 20-09-2006 03:44 PM

how do you factor experience and secondaries into this jamee?

for instance remarkable/strong with abysmal experience vs quality/sensational with feeble experience?

nooga99 20-09-2006 09:00 PM

Tucker is a remarkable bat.

Adamc 20-09-2006 09:03 PM

Ashton will be a shot at the WK spot by the end of the season. Currently:

George Ashton - 19 yo, BT Rating=26,786
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A cautious player with abysmal leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: proficient Wicket Keeping: superb
Batting: superb Concentration: competent
Bowling: feeble Consistency: feeble
Fielding: abysmal

Will be getting 2 batting, 1 WK, so will reach double-remarkable in the early weeks of next season. Only the concentration that's letting him down (and fielding, if you bother with that).

Duggan will pop to wonderful batting next week... aww yeah

mikeW 20-09-2006 09:51 PM

Well, I haven't allways got experience and secondaries to work off.

Basically, if someone has amazing secondaries (4-5 levels higher than their primary), I'll give them serious consideration for the primary level above them.

I also like stamina, so that's supposed to be quite important.

It's not easy to pick without full skills though.

brenoevo 21-09-2006 12:29 AM

doubt Jayasuriya would make the team nemore since iv stopped training him, hes only quality batting, superb conc and prof stamina.

Am I the only person who's gone for a squad of players all at pretty much the same level?!

ash chaulk 21-09-2006 01:15 AM

Sounds like me. I've only got a couple of strongs as my best but no one in my side is under respectable.

andyc 21-09-2006 03:09 AM

All my players are at least respectable (unless you count my keeper's batting), but I've also got Canning whose streets ahead of everyone else, tbh. He should be remarkable bowl on Monday, and my next best is a fairly low strong spinner. Batting is more even though, with two superbs, two proficients and three respectables.
