Ok here is where you post all your players runs and wickets then i'll total them up and at the end of the season and you get the idea
Would you please put (r) next to any rookie player you post OD league games ONLY AWARDS AVAILABLE Batsman of the year Bowler of the year All Rounder of the year Rookie of the year Team of the year A vote will be held to decide each of these. When you post your team for the year submissions post something like this: League: IV.10 Team Pld Won Tie Lost Points Net RR 1. Drunk XI 1 1 0 0 4 0.67 (Yes this is my current position):) |
Runs
Buckle 54 Nutter 53 Ohara 30(r) Stearman 13 Muirhead 9 Prest 8 Dickson 6 Gilroy 1 Lisbie 0(r) Mckenzie 0 Mangweni 0(r) Wickets Muihead 3 Gilroy 2 McKenzie 2 Mangweni 19(r) Prest 1 |
Why no vote for batsman/bowler of the year? If you just go by runs/wickets/averages it'll just be a competition to see who has the easiest league...

My team name for Battrick is 'Coco's Nuts' (at least i think that's what I called it.) |
Am not sure what you mean by rookies, as I have a few 18 year olds who I pulled/bought last year, don't know whether or not they count.
Batting: Hera 16 (31) Birchall 54* (50) Griffin 28* (24) Bowling: Dunne 1/15 (5) Drench 2/30 (10) Giles 2/19 (8.1) Tedstone 5/14 (8) Erasmus 0/14 (5) But I do agree with Nibbs in saying that it'd be a bit too much effort. On a pretty unrelated note, it'd be interesting to see what a combined CW team would look like. |
Yeah, that would be more interesting and a lot easier to do.
1. Fitz Watkins (Asterix XI) 2. 3. Sol Cuss (Asterix XI) 4. Jason Duggan (Whenuapai CC) 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Swagat Moodley (Roar CC) 11. Jason Lovegrove (Dalmeny Cricket Club) Those five would be certainties IMO, fill in the gaps. |
1. Fitz Watkins (Asterix XI)
2. Usmal Jayasuriya (College Dropouts) 3. Sol Cuss (Asterix XI) 4. Jason Duggan (Whenuapai CC) 5. Shaka Herbert (Dynamo Morpork) 6. Grady Mccammon (Got Spin) 7.(wk) Marvin Gray (Robertinho Select XI) 8. Dwight Tuck (Dynamo Morpork) 9. Ricky Louis (Asterix XI) 10. Swagat Moodley (Roar CC) 11. Jason Lovegrove (Dalmeny Cricket Club) Captain - no idea? The only reason Gray is there is because I don't know any other keepers. Not 100% what Herbert and Tuck are at - but I'd say they're definitely up there. |
Wohoo i got a player in there :D
I suppose mccammon is batting so low because of his stamina. |
Yeah, though you can't really exclude a Remarkable batsman... with that batting order before him, he'd probably come in during the last 20 overs or so, smack away.
