So MJ or Faulkner depending on Watto. Better than both I suppose.

Everyone knows the GABBA is always a raging seamer and it's a bowl first wicket. Would definitely leave out Lyon and play both Faulkner and Johnson.

I think there's more going for that idea than against it considering Lyon isn't a massive 5th day contributor. TPC and Pup and maybe a bit of Warner can provide sufficient spin options and Forkers shortens the tail whilst providing some cover for when Johnson's radar goes screwy.

He will probably console himself that in his 2 fc games at Brisbane (both tests) David Warner averages 9.5.

What are his one day stats there like? Seeing as that's the only way test cricketers should be judged on.

Lyon will be bowling into footmarks and he has a pretty good record at the gabba, I think you need a specialist spinner up there anyway

I didn't hear any ****s on here who were massive Blewett fans bitching when he got a test gig on the back of a few OD'ers for Aus A against an inept England side in 94-95.
