The selection of the 4th bowler will be determined by who is selected to bat at 6. If Watson is picked at 6 it gives the selectors the option of picking a Johnson or Tait knowing they have back up in Watson. I do not believe you can pick either in a 4 man attack because if Lee is erratic and the 4th bowler is too the workload will shift to McGrath and Warne, not what the Australian team will want with the schedule ahead.
Personally I would pick Watson and Johnson.

Symonds made a late charge for the all-rounder slot today!

If Symonds plays a single Ashes Test I'll eat my keyboard.

I've heard of Richard, and generally in a bad light, but what does he have to do with what I said?

Made a claim that if he was wrong, he'd eat his monitor.

    His whole computer actually.

He made one such prediction, which came badly wrong.

Then he disappeared for a long time...

I voted Clark from memory. People have forgotton SA and how gun he was there. I doubt the selectors have forgotten and I'm almost sure they will select him for the first test at least. However, I have been wrong more often than not.

Also he was in the ad. You can't put him in the ad and then not let him play. That's not how things work.

Here's where he admits it himself...

Although I personally think it's because he said this.
