If you could change 1 thing about WCC what would it be?

I'm not the biggest fan of the VB Cup. I generally prefer to get on with the league, its all that matters to my side at the moment. If I were the boss I change the VB Cup to a mid week slot, on Monday or Tuesday. This would mean the season would be shorter, and the VB Cup will not get in the way of the league.

What does your team need to change to be a real force in WCC?

We lack real depth in our squad. We need some better bowlers in the one dayers, and the batting in both forms needs some work The only part I'm happy with is our four day bowling line up.

Who do you see as they key's in your batting line up?

It has to be our young rookie Daniel Howarth. He is a certain of future. Sriram certainly gets a mention for his four day exploits, if he could be a bit better in the one dayers.

What types of players will you be after in the draft and in the off season trading period?

I have discussed my plans with the Warwickshire CC board and they are happy with my plans. Decisions on most players future with the team have been decided, although they have yet to be informed.

In the draft I'll be seeking at least one good batsmen, and I'll then look to strengthen my bowling attack, and then theres the issue of a second keeper.

With the season nearly at the half way mark, how do you rate your sides performance so far?

Considering how bad this team was last season I'd have to say I'm impressed. If all goes to plan we'll win third division four day title, and not get relegated in the one dayers.

Which other sides do you think will be fighting for promotion in division 3?

In the one dayers its battle between Hampshire and Karnataka. I can't see Karnataka losing that one. In the four dayers I think I have to be the favourite. Tasmania and Leicester should push be hard though.

Which player from another team do you think could make the most difference in yours?

T. Darden or A.Jones. These guys are just insanely good and would make a big difference.

Which team or teams do you get the most pleasure out of beating?

So far in my WCC Career I've seen side into 21 matches emerging victorius on 9 occasions. We have always beaten sides we should have beaten and always lost to the sides we should have lost to. We haven't had any major scalps yet. I would like to beat Karnataka, and South Australia. The teams I feel a bit of rivalry with are Wesetern Province, Hampshire and ACT. a few non wcc related questions now.

What 3 things would you take with you to a deserted island?

Fishing Net, Solar Power panels, and so kind of water generating tool.

What is your favourite world sporting team?

I have a couple. Auckland Blues, Auckland NPC side, Chelsea FC, NZ Warriors, and any New Zealand sporting team.

Which sports person do you most admire?

I've always been a fan of Muhammad Ali. He's an inspiration to us all. After him I guess theres, Nathan Astle, Chris Cairns, Jonah Lomu and Carlos Spencer.

If you could spend 24 hours with any 1 person in the world, who would it be?

Liz Hurley or Britany Spears...

Outside of sport, what are your hobbies?

Computer, PS2, Driving my car, hanging with friends, and much much more.
