Description
Lehmann is regarded as the finest batsman in the history of WCC, averaging over 62 in each form of the game he has the stats t back up this claim. Unfortunately he only played 4 seasons, but what he achieved may take a long time to equal. Captaining South Australia to a historic double in consective seasons its fair to say the only thing that escaped him was cup glory. Lehmann also had the honour of leading the Oceania side in the All Star series on a few occassions, his performances there were outstanding and just add to the legend. His career best score came in season three against Mumbai, his 236 helped guide SA to a big innings victory, he shared in massive partnerships with all rounders Stratton and Snow. His one day stats are just as impressive, scoring 5 centuries in only 39 matches makes him one very special player.
