Indian team is really happy about the win, but I think their bubble will burst on Monday against Pakistan.

Its a game, someone has to lose. As long as they fight hard

But if they beat Pakistan, you better show your face here

Pardon my ignorance, its been 5 years since I have been to India. Can you really buy a Porsche from a dealer w/o any issues about customs and duties

Well done SST for wrecking the thread and now the match for me.

Anyway, my thoughts on the match -
1) Seeing Bracken slaughtered by India was not fun.

That is all.

EDIT: But really, credit to India for wanting victory more, and to Dhoni for being a better 20/20 captain. Outplayed our team on the park.

sideshowtim - worst bloke. Thought you were better than that TBH.

Anyway, full credit to Pakisan. They pretty well destroyed New Zealand and it wasn't nice to see how we underperformed, especially as I came into the game with expectations of better play from the Black Caps.

India, amazing win, really can't beleive they pulled that off. I suppose it is good to see Australia being beaten in major tournaments like this, purely because we are so used to seeing them win these major tournaments.

The final is set up perfectly for cricket IMO, the two biggest markets in the world seeing their teams meet in the final of the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup, I bet those old blokes at the ICC are drooling in anticipation. Should be a cracker of a game with such passion and feeling between the two sides, especially after the narrow margin of victory during the earlier game between India and Pakistan. Looking forward to this so, so much.

No way should Afridi open. That is just asking for the loss of a wicket early.

Possibly, that is true. However Nazir and Hafeez (It was Hafeez wasn't it?) looked very good and to change that for a wildcard slogger would be a bad call. The man for Pakistan who I believe will have a big influence on their batting performance is Shoiab Malik.

It was indeed Hafeez, I think they should stick with the opening pair they used in the last game, particularly as both have runs on the board.

Can't believe they got $1million USD and a Porche for a player for winning a T20 semi-final. Dravid better have gotten a personal jet for winning in England, that's all I have to say.

I know this is fairly juvenile, but still, has Raghav made an appearance out of curiosity? CBF going through what appears to be a war between the Indian posters and showsidetim.
