Yuzvendra Chahal will face Viswanathan Anand in a Chess game on June 13th to raise funds for COVID-19 relief in India. Wishing them all the best:)

Relax man. Think Ankit simply meant he expected the event to be more popular and generate more revenue.
Well if he thought it was going to be popular and 6.5 is a trifling sum for him, maybe he should match the amount raised instead of a dismissive ''that's it?''.

6.5 Lakhs is indeed a very trifling sum for a match that involved a 5X world chess champion, a billion dollar + unicorn ceo, a national cricketer, 2 bollywood mainstream guys and a bunch of other semi - whatevers. In fact it's pathetic.

The event itself was pathetic as well given half of those guys resorted to using engines in the game.

A rating of 1900 is pretty impressive though not close to Candidate Master, I think Agadmator’s (famous chess YouTuber) rating is 2000.

Played against a batsman called Viswanathan last season. I asked him if he preferred the Caro-Kann or the Nimzo-Indian and he looked at me funny.

He, and a couple of others, were using stockfish to make it "interesting". The others had the good sense to stop after a while and this fellow didn't. Bad billionaire.

This is lame. It is like some lame cricketers asking critics to come and play cricket when they receive a negative feedback.

6.5 lakhs is indeed a trifling sum for such an event as shrhrkbk has correctly pointed out.
