He is the 4th
No, he isn't. Of contemporaries
YK - born 1975
Ponting 74
Kallis 75
Sanga 77
Dravid 73
were better
Chanders 74
Jayawardene 77
Sehwag 78

The main point of your post was to stress that it's not particularly close.I'm 95% certain that you are trying to be comedically humorous here but in the unlikely 5% case where you are not, may I ask, what is the point?

LOL a coke head on a pogo stick. Sounds like a lot of funprobably impossible for kane to ever do anything as cool as the series in england where three of four tests younis jumped up and down like a coke head on a pogo stick and did nothing before smacking one of the best double tons i’ve ever seen, and i’m taking younis on that basis. incredible.
Oh.I thought he meant Kane is 4th tbh
haha 8 is plenty lotThe main point of your post was to stress that it's not particularly close.
Then you give stats of four countries where K.W has hardly even played, with 8 being the most of the lot. He 's only played 4 tests in S.A ffs.
Newsflash: K.W averages 54.36 in test cricket while Y.K averages 52.05
Now TBH I'm not sure who the best bat really was/is because as usual there are so many variables to take into consideration.
But seriously for you to make out that it's not even close is nothing short of pure junk.
75 of his 118 tests were still in Asia tbf because he toured SL a lot. It still counts as away, but its not like he was touring England every 2 yearsNo, 71 away, 19 in Pakistan, 27 in UAE. (1 vs Australia in SL too)
Interesting in that series Younis scored 109/123 runs in his 2 innings at Colombo. Combined 14 runs across 4 innings at Sharjah
Yea this is my logic too. Kane is going to end up averaging the same as guys like Dravid and Younis in a much tougher era. Clearly better IMOKane is in the 2nd best batsman of a tougher batting era, while YK was far lower ranked in a easier batting era.
I would definitely not say Kohli is not debatable.....Oh.
I can see arguments for Root, but Kohli is a far way behind.
lot closer than you are guessingPrediction: Kane 10 v 2 Younis (trundler and some rando)
pure junk or just obsessed more with KW and less aware even at the time of YK full stop - probably thought he was Y2K.......!The main point of your post was to stress that it's not particularly close.
