Cullinan when playing Warne. I've never seen someone so inept against him.

McMillan gave him a run in the recent series. That one dismissal where Gilchrist was laughing at him will stay in my mind for a while. Padded away two consecutive full tosses outside leg stump without even considering using his bat, then with the infielders laughing at him tried to play a forward defence to a ball two feet outside leg stump and delicately tapped the ball into the hands of the short leg fielder.

i think almost anyone is close to inept whilst playing warne, considering there is no real method for playing him.

Craig mcmillan is horrible when he tries to leave and play half shots.
When he plays attacking he is so exciting to watch, anyone remember that innings he played vs pakistan in nz when he made saqlain look rubbish? It was a few years back, macca was in the form of his life.

How can someone so dangerous and exciting look so horrible at times?

he wasn't that bad...slow batting...but technically very good....a purist's delight...

he was just irritating very slow, after every delivery checking his pads and other guards

When Chris Tavare was in defensive mode he was horrible - didnt even attempt to rotate strike let alone play attacking cricket.

Graham Fowler scored a century against WI in 1984 where he seemed to miss more than he hit.

To be fair to Tavare, he was told to do a job,and thats exactly what he did....it was quite tough on him though, because he actaully could play attacking cricket pretty well..I saw him on a few occasions really tear bowling apart in domestic one dayers

the worst innings I have seen was Dareen Lehmann in a 45 over game for Yorks last season..it ws embarressing, he really couldnt middle the ball, and it was a releif when he tryed to cow the ball and got out

At international level , one that sticks in my mind was Ganguly vs England in the last World Cup...he just didnt have a clue vs Flintoff
