Cricketer Of The Year
Your argument is valid, but a bit overstated. This is just petty lol refusing to give me credit.
Where do you finally rank Ambrose?

Below Dennis Lillee.Where do you finally rank Ambrose?
Yes, that's the point of the post to focus on.What's the point of this screenshot?
Picard is literally the embodiment of the Prime Directive; whereas Kirk was more the Prime Erective
I mean the dirty, dark, stinky part of our body serves a valuable role too. It's only keeping this subforum, which is the taint of the forum, alive.

Root is really really good, and mostly underrated but I won't comment on relative placement until his career is over.Root is better.
3 tons in last 3 games, hope he does 8 tons in 8 games by the end of our next series.Root is really really good, and mostly underrated but I won't comment on relayive placement until his career is over.
Dude just because you've been so ineffective against Imran doesn't mean you need to take it out on meNo one individual has successfully changed mass opinions on anyone.
Lara has never made a first team here and has never been rated by the community above Viv.
Smith's emergence, and Hutton's over ranking has impacted Lara position more than Sub's rantings.
Though to be fair I have those 3 rated in the same tier, so there's no real issue with where Lara is rated, but he hasn't declined.
Not to mention that Kallis and Ambrose are exactly where they've always been if not higher.
Sorry, can you list whose better, and whose just below him? And if there's tiers to that in your mind?
3rdI have Ambrose as the 5th best bowler of all time.

Ambrose was definitely more consistent over whole career as a bowler than Imran, I would say.
Come again?Marshall
McGrath
Hadlee
Steyn
Imran
Lillee
Ambrose
The reason I have Imran over Ambrose is he was simply more proven across conditions and didn't have the issues with penetration once his pace declined after their respective injuries. Also a more skilled bowler.
Yeah Imran to me is more proven given success in SC, WI, Eng and Aus.Come again?
Idk why I thought Lillee lolYeah Imran to me is more proven given success in SC, WI, Eng and Aus.
Basically what Kyear does with WI players. The greater impact posters can have is when they're trying to elevate players
Lillee and Ambrose is close because neither is proven across conditions but Lillee was more penetrative and better after losing pace through injury.Idk why I thought Lillee lol
okLillee and Ambrose is close because neither is proven across conditions but Lillee was more penetrative and better after losing pace through injury.
Ambrose essentially is the most condition dependent perhaps of all the top pacers.
If in bouncy or seaming conditions he can be as deadly as Hadlee/McGrath but simply lacks tools to take wickets on other pitches relatively speaking.
Ambrose has a skill issue, smaller bag of tricks.
