And it's clear you think Bangladesh can win a test against those teams they are scheduled to play. There you go....Luckyeddie is this misinterpretation? It was just obvious.
I think there's just as much chance - so sue me, just because I don't subscribe to the "India are a great side" point of view.

Whatever, it is related because that is something which has really improved and can get us to win a series outsied Asia.
It is a reply to something completely different, so lump it all together, it almost gives you a point.

Now things have changed a lot and India can win outside Asia.

But can they, or will they choke?

The fact that they haven't for such a long time adds to the pressure on the side.

It's just ridiculous how you dismiss India and compare them with Bangladesh.
How many times does it have to be said that comparing the 2 is not the issue here for it to sink in?

And the above quoted statement emphasizes how stupid, baseless and ignorant your posts have largely been in this thread.

Right, because it's stupid to suggest that a large number of sides (or in this case NZ, SA, Australia and England) are either fairly even with or better than India?

Be interesting to see what a straw poll would answer if asked that sort of question...

It was just another debate, and you can stick to your views. Like I care if you think India are not good.

Yeah but it's still related as it shows your views of the Indian team.

But this thread has turned into one and what you think is now clearly known for all it's absurdity.

Oh yeah fairly even or better, you won't accept it even if it was the truth that India could be better. And even if they are fairly even why can't India beat them? 8-)

Which by the Pathan theory makes him one of the best batsmen in the world...
Nobody ever said Pathan was the best in the world or even among the best. The only debate was with him and Harmo, who is also yet unproven in tests against all teams.

Just be half as cynical about Bangladesh and you will see what chances they have.

I still fail to understand how based on six Tests you're saying we can beat any country anywhere right now.

Against England in England right now, it won't be that easy mate.

See, we're not the only ones improving and the others stagnant.

Funny thing is I've never said that - just because I don't think they'e as good as you make them out to be, doesn't mean I don't rate them.

No, it shows that I don't think the Indian bowlers are that good (and their records tend to back that view)

You seriously think that if India played in SA, NZ, Australia or England tomorrow that they're guaranteed to win the series?

And you accused me of being blindly patriotic?!

But proven against several, yet you say Pathan (proven against what, 1 team) is better than him...

Oh, I don't know so much. If you play at Headingley, you won't have too much difficulty...

Keep dismissing India off, unfortunately you can't be proven wrong for 2 years. But I think India are the heavyweights of Test cricket now after Australia and yes, I have to add, can thrash England anytime, anyplace(not a case of sour grapes, it's a fact). It's just ridiculous how you dismiss India and compare them with Bangladesh and I know what to expect from you now. And the above quoted statement emphasizes how stupid, baseless and ignorant your posts have largely been in this thread.
umm no.....just because they managed to pull of a draw against an under strength aussie side in conditions that suited them more than australia or that they beat a rather inconsistent pakistan side in similarly batter friendly doesnt mean that they can beat SA, NZ or england at home. they are yet to show that they can bat in bowler friendly conditions and the last time they went to new zealand they completely disgraced themselves.

With the ball moving around all over the place?
does it really move all over the place?over the last year or so there have been more pitches that were up and down rather than offering lateral movement(bar of course headingly where it seems england enjoy bowling short)

wow!!! the day has finally come! i agree with tec! india still has a long way to go....! the one good thing is that they are moving in the right direction.....but, dismissing a resurgent england, sa or nz as unworthy rivals would be foolish in the extreme....

Oh and i just thought you don't rate them over anyone except WI and Zim away from home....

And it shows that you haven't seen any improvement at all despite what theire career averages say...

If you read my posts clearly I haven't ever mentioned will, I've only ever said can and you were not even backing them with a chance against these teams.
