Nah, not trying to troll or anything but it's losses like that that make one genuinely surprised to see England at no.1 in the format.

But that's my point about England. People are very quick to remember their bad results, like getting thumped 5-0 on our last 2 visits to India, the 2 6-1 post Ashes thumpings, and the 2 defeats in the World Cup.

However, England are unbeaten at home in over 3 years (the only series they've failed to win was the tied series vs South Africa), and won our most recent series in the West Indies, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Over the course of a 5 or 7 match series, England are probably better than anyone else in most conditions (India away is the only place we've really yet to prove ourselves) - however you'd still expect England to lose 1 or 2 games in a series. In a series you win 4-1 or 3-2 or 4-2, dropping a couple of games is fine - you don't get 2nd chances in tournaments.

Yup. England have only lost three bilateral series in the last four years and two were straight after victorious Ashes victories.
