NZ were playing internationals against Australia during the early 20th century. Could go back as far as Dan Reese.

Reggie Schwarz brought the googly to South Africa and might be a candidate.
For India, could had gone with someone older for Birth like DB Deodhar or even moreso, Palwankar Baloo. Baloo I especially feel does not gets his due in the game's history in India and even his role in the fight against the caste system.

Hutton is not as celebrated and part of English lore as Botham.

Barnes and Hutton I am split with
Celebrated isn't a necessity though, Worrell isn't as celebrated as Lara but it's not even close who is more important to West Indies Cricket, It was under Hutton that the class separation between players and gentlemen came to an end, brought the urn back after 20 years of drubbings and led England to being a truly competitive side after the second world war.

Botham was more popular, but his contributions to English Cricket aren't nearly as significant.

Celebration is a necessity. All four American presidents were larger than life figures. Not just technical influence.

Bothams Ashes are the single greatest series victory in England cricket along with Ashes 2005. The man mass popularized cricket in the televised era in a way unprecedented in England.

Cricket was always massively popular in England. And Yes, while celebration is important, the actual influence and impact on English Cricket is well more important to me for the English mount rushmore, and Hutton blows beefy away in that regard. Like I said, Worrell – Lara.
