The stage before is literally called "groups"
Super 6 is the next stage
I mean technically it's a "group" but Semi-Finals are technically a group of 4 so why don't we just call that "group stage" too

Finals aren't a group of 4, they'd be 2 groups of 2.
Everyone plays each other in a group. Super 6 and super 8 are just a fancy name for a finals group stage
