What would be your ideal bowling lineup for SC and SENA?

Assuming for SENA you have three pacers and one spinner, and for SC you have two pacers and two spinners.

If I'm not factoring in batting/captaincy and just looking at bowling:

SENA: McGrath, Marshall, Hadlee, Warne.
SC: Same except Murali in for Hadlee.

Realistically I'm picking Imran for both though due to the other factors I mentioned. For Hadlee in SENA and Marshall in SC.

Warne and Murali both needed in the subcontinent. Probably Imran, Wasim and Marshall the quicks.

In SENA, I really want Ambrose but it's quite difficult to fit him in unless we take out a spinner. And a spinner probably isn't needed to be fair with that pace attack...

lol at McGrath in SC. SC is not just India.

SC - Steyn, Murali, Marshall, Ashwin

SENA - Hadlee, Marshall, McGrath, Warne
People do seem to have a hard time grasping this concept.

SENA- Barnes, Marshall, McGrath, O’Reilly

SC- Steyn, McGrath, Murali, O’Reilly
I love O’Reilly as much as the next guy but putting him in for an ATG SC side when he never played there feels off. Same thing with Bradman. Ofc I’m sure both would’ve performed great but its like picking someone who never played tests as part of your ATG test XI.

I am going for Marshall, Imran, Murali and Ashwin in SC. Warne's flat sidespin is a liability in India moreso than Murali.

in SENA, I am going for Hadlee, Lillee, McGrath and Warne. Lillee is the best conventional swinger in these conditions IMO. Murali is disqualified because of Australia.

Tempted to play no spinner in some parts of SENA tbh. The pace attack fielded will be completely unstoppable at places like JoBerg and Trent Bridge. Will rotate in Sydney and Edgbaston. Leaving Ambrose out in SENA is a huge call.

SENA

Marshall, McGrath, Steyn, Warne (should be Hadlee over Steyn based on stats, but Hadlee is close in style to McGrath and would want Steyn's extra pace and aggression)

Sub Continent

Marshall, Imran, Murali, Warne

So basically no reverse swinger. Why both Murali and Warne given their India records?
Their records in India has less to do with not being able to bowl in India and more with regards to facing the Indian's which Ashwin didn't have to do.
