What *should* Ben Stokes have done when Jadeja refused to accept a draw?

Obviously sulking was not a good look.

Personally I think he should have instructed Jamie Smith to stand at third slip, then bowl huge wides until Jadeja got bored.

Lol, good thing you're not his coach.

You have to bowl out the overs, one way or another. Keep bowling part timers, whatever. And just get it over with. No point in any shenanigans if you don't think your proper bowlers are going to be able to get it done.

If Stokes or Root were in the same position can't see them going off on 80 and 89. So glad Sundar and Jadeja got their 100s. As reyrey said they should have stayed on to get their 150s.
You say that, but Stokes did declare on 49* in New Zealand with plenty of time left in the game...how respectful!

Instead of giving up, he could have tried getting them out thus denying their hundreds which would have got both sides to call it off early as well.
