Jury's out on Gill but ppl are being ridiculously harsh on Jurel. I have to believe they're just looking at byes on the scorecard and assuming he had a poor outing. Some folks were also complaining he dropped a catch standing up to a Woakes half-volley. I mean, come on now. That Shubman Gill is a flat track bully. That Jurel is a world class keeper standing up but much less good standing back. That Stokes doesn't really trust Woakes to bowl at the crucial moments in the match.
I don't think both Gill and Jurel are that bad respectively either. I think it's fine to say Gill had a bad Test with the bat and back him anyway, and with Jurel we should consider how the Indian pacers bowled as well. They got a lot of movement that moved a lot even past the batter, and in the second innings they really bowled quite straight/towards legside, which hurts him because he can't exactly keep on the legside of the batter all the time.Jury's out on Gill but ppl are being ridiculously harsh on Jurel. I think Jaiswal can fix this tbh, and Brook should as well. Don't think Duckett can change too much though.I think Yashasvi is also a bit braindead like Harry lad and Duckett.
Probably, Ducky is 31.I think Jaiswal can fix this tbh, and Brook should as well. Don't think Duckett can change too much though.
That's a strange thing to learn from the test matchThat no matter what actually happens in the game of cricket out there, people just think its a justification of their agendas.
I've said a lot of dumb things on here, and this is still dogshit compared to that.THE ULTIMATE TRUTH
These fellows have some serious mental issues. They badly need sports psychologists. Just look at the World Cup final in your own backyard: timid and frightened. Only Pant, Bumrah, or Jaiswal look Australian in this team. The rest are sheeps. Nitish Reddy looks like a tailender with the bat—subdued and terrified.
Many of them simply lack the mental toughness required for competitive sports. No shortage of talent, but psychological issues. Just facts.
Yeah, saw at least two videos where that was discussed. That picking 3 all rounders who can't contribute consistently each with bat and ball is never helpful. Out of Jadeja/Sundar/Reddy, Jadeja has scored runs but not bowled well overall this series, Sundar has made less runs but has at least taken quite a lot of wickets for a spinner, and Reddy can't make runs and only now took wickets (definitely not worth as a 4th pace option).
Two of them probably have to be dropped for a better balance, with a batter and a bowler.
It's really a problem of their own making. They're not getting that extra player that ARs often provide, and it's hurting the team's results.Yeah, saw at least two videos where that was discussed.
Went on to discuss that because of the runs one scored, and the wickets the other took, that dropping neither is now feasible.
Yeah but remove tests in India and the SC from that and maybe even Windies.
