Clement Hill and Montague Noble. Love it

Interesting that Clem and Trumper managed to stay 2nd and 3rd behind Bradman til the mid 50s. Kept all of McCartney, McCabe, Ponsford, Woodfull and Hassett at bay. Morris only barely pipped them.

Very interesting progression, interested in seeing more TEST records visualised in this manner, none of the ODI or T20 bull****.

They (including “Arthur Hassett”) each lost about 8 years to a world war.

That's awesome...

I paid attention to Bob Simpson, wanted to see the little flurry of runs in his comeback during WSC

Ponsford and Woodfull were done before the war. McCartney probably missed only two series in WW1. McCabe may have had two or three years left by the time the second war began.

West Indies have the lowest individual best ODI wicket aggregate, 227, out of the main ten nations(so the test teams minus Ireland and Afghanistan)

Also being terrible between 00 and now they haven't played as much odi cricket as other nations with terrible attacks.
So much potential in guys like Corey Colleymore, Cameron Cuffy, Franklyn Rose, Mervyn Dillon, Lionel Baker, Reon King, Colin Stuart, Ravi Rampaul, Darren Powell, Jermaine Lawson, etc.

In an alternate universe, these guys would have been unstoppable.

I genuinely thought Lawson would be the next West Indies pace superstar way back in the day. That 7-78 in Antigua was incredible, that whole series is one of my earliest and still favourite memories of Test cricket live

Gayle, Hooper and Bravo are among the top 5 wicket-takers for West Indies in their history. Who would have thought that.
