Nobody cares, I'm sure, but for the record:

-katsu is a suffix used mainly for deep-fried meat in breadcrumbs (katsu is a shortened form of katsuretsu -- the Japanese for "cutlets") pork, beef, chicken, mince

-furai is the suffix mainly used for seafood not meat but cooked basically the same way (shrimp, oyster etc.)

neither of them is really describing anything to do with batter

-yaki is the suffix used when things are deep-fried in batter -- okonomi-yaki is famous of course; tako-yaki is octopus fried in balls of batter and is quite wonderful

tempura is usually seafood or vegetables dipped in special batter and then fried traditionally in sesame oil
