The video is dodgy as hell. Anyone can come up with predicting low score in last over sounding like actually they have fixed it with confidence.

I think you'll find that the Australian team would never engage in such activity

No. Arguably it's something between spot fixing and match fixing -- it's not fixing an isolated incident with no broader ramifications, like the Amir no balls, and nor is it fixing the result of the match, like with Cronje etc. But if the curator is being paid off to intentionally create a minefield or road, for the purpose of gambling on the length of the match, it is some form of fixing/corruption.

I mean, you don't need the groundsmen in your pocket to make big coin by backing a Test involving Australia in the Subcontinent to be over early, but still.
Yeah but the information about SL-Ind pitch that its going to be batting friendly gave some advantages to the bookies before play. You can predict its going to be batting friendly but not to the extent of SL-Aus match.

Lolz, so Shaun Marsh and Glenn Maxwell are the players being implied for spot fixing? Maybe Cricket Australia should think Al Jazeera for getting rid of those players for good.

At best these guys are pretending they are in touch with the players to get all those bets.
Yea I'm definitely not convinced by these guys saying they know if the session will be low scoring or high scoring because they have fixed it with the groundsman or know the players.

These arent very specific things and the knowledge they profess to have isn't all that exclusive. Going to wait for full details to be released

I wonder how many people would have believed that saintly Aussies were deliberately scuffing the ball with sandpaper that they surreptitiously smuggled into the field, if they weren't caught on camera :innocent:? Just throwing that out there .

Maxwell wouldn't do it. He earns so much from the IPL.

But if this was why he got into Smith's **** list, it would be sad and explain a lot.

So, if you want to create some news, you just routinely set up an interview with someone and get them to predict something that is going to happen because of a fix. On the occasion they get it right you have a story where you are breaking big news. Show this to Trump and let him tell you it is fake news.
