Players who died before I was born

Hobbs
Sutcliffe
Hammond
Headley
Barrington
Worrell*
Faulkner
Oldfield+
Lohmann
Barnes
O’Reilly

Other considerations - Shoehorning Hutton in, but I think I need all the extra bowling I can get with Hammond, Barrington, Worrell and Faulkner. Grace as well. I generally don’t include players from the 19th century but really, but not that many great more modernish pacers died before I was birthed. Also Nourse.

Players who have died whilst I’ve been around

Morris
Mitchell
Bradman*
Weekes
Walcott
Miller
Evans+
Lindwall
Davidson
Marshall
Warne

Thought about May/Compton over Miller for a fair bit.

Players who are still alive (not currently playing)

Gavaskar
Boycott
Lara
Tendulkar
Chappell
Sobers
Gilchrist+
Imran*
Hadlee
Murali
McGrath

Think Lohmann gets underrated.

@Coronis didn't Ames pass away before you?

W.R Hammond
W.G Grace
G.A Headley
F.M Worrell*
G.A Faulkner

Really commendable batting and I'm very confident in the bowling too, Worrell/Hammond/Grace is great for the 5th bowler, Barnes/Laker/Faulkner are perfect for their roles of first, third and fourth bowlers. Spofforth, I don't really know but I'm going in on him doing well.

Died-During-My-Lifetime XI

L. Hutton*
B. Mitchell
D.G Bradman
E.D Weekes
D.C.S Compton
C.L Walcott+
K.R Miller
