Lancashire likely to be without Salt, Buttler, Livingstone, Turner, Green, Wood, Mahmood and possibly Anderson in the quarter finals will probably ensure the southern team gets to finals day.

Wins for the Bears, Durham, Yorkshire, Durham and Notts, was watching the Leicestershire-Yorkshire game where Rehan Ahmed again impressed with the bat, but was expensive with the ball, meanwhile Farhan took a 5-fer including a hattrick for Notts. Lancs, Durham, the Bears and Northants into the quarters

Which first class county do you support btw if you do that is? I know your a Watford fan but where do Hertfordshire based fans flock to cricket.

Easy for in my case a Northumbrian to just pick Durham.

But your slapped between three first class counties and easy access to South London for a fourth too

I followed Middlesex and Sussex when Steve Finn played for them, nowadays I go from time to time to Surrey with my mates from uni but I don’t really follow any one county in particular

Impressive stuff from Sussex to be nailed on Quarter Finalists halfway through the group stage to managing to miss out on the final day. The batting fell apart and the decision to continuously select more bowlers than were needed was pretty brain dead.

Will the Southern domination continue in this year's QF's?

That may depend on whether the ECB release anyone in England's ODI squad. England play RSA on the 2nd, 4th and 7th September
QFS on 3rd (surrey, northants), 5th (durham hants) and 6th (lancs kent, somerset warwickshire).

Would they release players not likely to play on the 7th for the games on the 5th and 6th? Or even all players involved in the Blast if the ODI series is already 0-2 or 2-0 after the 4th??

I suspect that if you're in that squad then you're not playing QF's. Last year's winners were a team totally unaffected by International call ups, I wonder if the likes of Kent or Northants might benefit in a similar way.

agree but wonder why Warwickshire and Lancashire were given the England Andorra at Aston Villa clash date. They might have a larger crossover with Football fans than some of the other counties?
