He was world class in the early 2010s I'd say, even if not to the level of Botham. But he didn't have the big dropoff that Beefy had either.

Just a reminder, Botham until 1987 would have been considered a better bowler than Anderson.

It's only because of his historically bad last 14 tests that he gets downgraded below.

Never had that impression in the 2010s that Broad was anything but a good bowler and a very good one on song. But not in the Anderson Steyn Rabada class.
