Daily Blast Comment: Sri Lanka's poor start to their CW tour continues with defeat in the opening fixture of the inaugral Champions Trophy. As well as the CW XI played today, the Sri Lankans certainly did not help themselves with loose batting at times and generally sloppy fielding. All in all the XI was more professional of the two sides and pulled out a deserved win.

Perfect start guys, We really switched on and gave them no opportunities everytime they looked like geting a partnership going our bowlers took a wicket, and despite a minor hiccup from bugs in the batting we all showed why we are one of, if not the best OD side in the world...
