I think India’s success really bothers subz

that aside, let’s have this conversation in 2030 when India still will not have lost a test series at home

edit: India will have won ever series it plays at home. In all seriousness, the best chance to beat India was Australia and England recently and with Smith in decline and England rapidly going over a hill, it feels like it could be 5+ years before there is any remotely credible opposition.

Nah. I am a big fan of the Dravid/Dhoni team.

That team had some stars but on accomplishment, it doesn’t come close to this the Kohli / Sharma India team, principally because the bowling is an order of magnitude better

Let's see. 2WCs, Champion Trophy, No.1 in all three formats, wins in NZ and Eng. Yeah I would say it comes close.

talking testa. I’d take without question the 2 BGSs in Australia, and of course the home dominance over anything the Dhoni / Dravid side did. I also think their period of excellence was short.
I wasn't even comparing them to begin with except to say that I was a fan of that team and they were successful in their own right because the charge, as usual from your side, is that I am anti-India.

You're not anti-India subs, you're just a massive 2000s wanker.

I don’t think you’re anti India. I think you are blinded by nostalgia.

but who knows maybe I am in my Ricky Ponting love

Mid-2000s nostalgia might just be the worst kind of cricket nostalgia, not least because so many of us also grew up watching cricket in those days and are fully aware of just how silly the rose-tinted glasses view of those teams and players can be.
yeah at least make it about the 80s, then you can wax lyrically all you want about how you had Gods play cricket with mortals and hit everyone with the “i watched them play u fool, kids these days dont know how good we had smh”
