Tabs are annoying in Firefox. However, as Opera rules all, i use that. And Tabs. I'm just so good like that

Firefox tabs are cool IMO. Firefox>Opera. Do you get the red cross beside each tab? Without that, it would be pretty annoying, yes.

Nah, Opera>Firefox. Alt+ Tabbing on Firefox is annoying imo.
I click on File, then on new tab. For opening a link on a page on a new tab, just right clicking and chosing 'open in new tab' works easily.

Tabs are easy if you have a scroller in the middle of the mouse, because that opens in a new tab by default. And with my laptop, pressing both the "mouse" buttons opens in a new tab (this is in firefox) so it's all easy.

Yeah Opera rules, although it randomly deletes all my bookmarks once a year or so.

Fiery, when was the last time you searched? I searched your name just now and it does bring up all posts in which people have quoted you.

Yeah, Opera does all that too. I mean Alt+Tabbing between tabs (which is actually Ctrl+Tab). The system in Opera in that respect is easier to use imo.

How are windows better than tabs? Why would you want millions of windows opened? Tabs can be crossed with a click of a button. Which explorer do you use btw?
Because windows are basically the same as tabs anyway. I can close all my windows by clicking Close Group anyway so that's not a big deal, if i want to close an individual window out of the many i have open it will only take me one click as i Alt + Tab a lot. IE 6.

My biggest beef with tabs is the changing of Ctrl + Tab to switching between tabs, when Alt + Tab did that anyway and when Ctrl + Tab in IE 6 does a far more useful thing of going to the address bar which i miss when i have to use IE 7 at the Uni building.

Surprised you didn't realise he "left". Not like you to miss that sort of thing.
Oh well, I initially missed 16toS's departure and wouldn't have found-out had Kieran himself not made an "Appreciation Society" thread.

As I say - I don't read every single thread.

I don't normally use the key board for opening windows/tabs. The mouse pad on the IBM Laptop mouse is much easier to use for me. Maybe that's it because I need one or two clicks at max to open or close tabs. Plus windows mean them maximising, minimising while tabs open instantly as soon as I click.
