Both were v high on my list, and i thought would slip through. Redpath especially is almost never drafted.
I almost didn't pick him because I had so many openers but he and Herbie did both bat all over the place.

Goddard's going to bowl a lot so maybe he should the one to bat lower, but he bowled a lot IRL too and he opened almost all the time.

He mostly opened but clearly had no fixed position, which was weirder than it was for the other openers I picked given the era he played in. He was a bit of a utility batsman so I stuck him where I needed him. I think all bar maybe Goddard were better bats than him too so it makes some sense for him to come in after them.

Logic sort of suggests I move Goddard but he *always* opened:
