Should india convert two match test series vs sa into 3 match series?

Last year's bgt and India's england tour reaginted test cricket's popularity in india. So i was thinking wouldn't it would be better if bcci and csa drop one odi and t20i match and make two match series into potential 3 match series? South africa are wtc champions and any way they don't play enough test matches this cycle. India vs sa rivalry is underrated and would be feast for neutrals

Whatever it takes!!!
Yeah I have long believed we should be playing 8 tests at home every season. Invite a team to play 5 and another to play 3. We can do the 3 tests in our Oct-Nov part of the season and mid Jan-March could be for the 5 test series.

Only going to work if you're not dropping any LOIs given CSA's financial situation. Though I'm sure tests against India still earn profits.

The obvious solution is just for the BCCI with its infinite money glitch to play 15 tests a year. (Like, seriously, why don't they?)
Mate sa are touring india not other way around. Csa have nothing to lose
If bcci have power they would play ipl year long

What are you talking about, I'm saying the pitches South Africa gave India IE when India toured South Africa, the infamous 6 wickets for no runs game series I think
Ha... I thought u meant in India. Only the 2015 tour had minefields. 2019 were good wickets and I hope to see the same this series.

Hell yes

It's great to see SA is a mighty competitive side still. I was worried they could slide like WI with all the untimely retirements from test cricket. But they are a superb side, won the WTC. Will be great to play longer series with them.

There's no space in the calendar to add any extra games. Ind-SA test series starts like 5 days after the conclusion of India's whiteball tour of Australia. Plus right after the two tests there's back to back ODI and T20 series with both SA and NZ.
