Shane Warne's Argus Review

International Debutant
Nah bollocks to that, Bencheh's not a fundie on that point like Warne is.

I might add that Kimber's article ain't perfect either. He falls back on the tired 'team in transition' trope. By that logic, if they're not number 1, they're a team in transition. Bull****.
Biggest issue I had with the article was how it credited the Howard, Invers & Arthur with Australia's win away to Sri Lanka and their admirable draw away to South Africa when in fact they effectively all began at the start of the home 2011/12 season. When you take that as the starting point their record is a fair bit less impressive.

Doesn't it just mean that you think the team is improving? I'd say it's only a cop out so long as you can't back that up.

Do many people really think Ted Whitten was the greatest ever player? Or is he so highly revered for both on and off field endeavors?

Excellent player. Dirty **** though.

Although the two greatest Australian Rules players were both Taswegians and played for the Tigers.

I'm rather indifferent to AFL (prefer league by a long way), but I was glad that the only game I've ever seen live in Melbourne was the one with Gary Moorcroft's 'mark of the century'.
