No, they're Demeza, Collins and Fuller :p
Sigh...obviously. What I MEANT was, the Sri Lankans will offer some quite different bowling. But it'll have to do for a warm-up, since none of us bowl quite like Murali... :D

...and I`m wondering whether the Colts will dominate the competition based on proven 'Rookie-power' or whether they`ll struggle to win a game.

The two fixtures between Red and Blue are intentional.

Btw, didn't we have a 2-Test home series with the Lankans in season 7? I seem to remember hitting 121* against them for Red in a warm-up...
I remember bowling well against them as well, I think it`s in the 'Three of the Best' thread.

I'm still wondering when this rookie power has been proven though. The rookies have had the odd fantastic performance, and one or two of them have had outstanding starts to their careers, but most of the rookies have started in pretty mediocre fashion.

As per usual, rookie adjustments will be made.

Disappointed Red won't be playing Bangladesh :(

By the way, Hak, I was joking :D And the reason why I'm looking forward to it, is because they're completely untried and could be an absolute surprise packet.. They've got some old hands, but it will be interesting to see their rookies..

RA Langley moves to CW Red, whilst BL Wilshire re-signs with CW Blue.

Patrick won't be pleased, but the move has to be made.
You think right.

...

Damn Wilshire. :p

I wouldn't say I was great. ODs were Ok. but FC performace was pretty average for me.

Opener on a pacy wicket against the Reds. Noice.

So what happens with season fixtures and the fact that there are five teams Liam? Does one team just not play? I`d prefer it that way, rather than another foreign team joining us.
Schedule is already fixed.

All teams except for Blue play on opening day. Blue then plays Black on the second scheduled day. Thus there are two matches one day and one the other. That continues until the last round of the first half of the season, when there are 2 matches per day.

Schedule will be released soon.

Rob, Kenny - time to sort out your problems with 'Big' Trav & Simon :)
Hey I had no problems, I just thought we should be standing behind a Red teamate.

Blackman averaged 26 in FC and 33 in OD, Dubb Lynch 35 FC and 16 OD, Loc averaged 16 in FC, etc etc

Blackman faded at the end of the season, he started off awesome, and 26 & 33 aren't too bad considering the rest of the CW XI. Dubb-Lynch is an FC specialist - he's a keeper and averaging 35 is good in the Dev League. Loc averaged 50 or something in OD, top runscorer, scoring a century in the OD final :p
