Even on CW, Worrell ranked 3-4 spots higher than Kanhai in the 2024 poll
They have Chanders over Gooch as well btw

I mean, you're allowed to have whatever opinion you want, I'm not Vladmir Johan to suppress that, but Yeah I don't hold Kanhai in the same class as those two, whom I have in Barrington tier.
I have all 3 below that tier

I’d say Miller over Roberts would be a pretty minority opinion here and Roberts is at the bottom so that makes sense
I will have Miller above broad, philander, botham, Gillespie, hazlewood, larwood, willis shoaib quite easily. Miller as a bowler in general is very underrated in cricket circle

Miller's relatively low WPM in both test and FC cricket is an issue I feel as to why he doesn't get rated higher

He was a very effective bowler, averages 22 and actually bowled lot of overs. His wpm is low because he bowled in stack deep line up. Wpm is problem against bowlers who average sub 23 and are equal/better on quality, not those who are neither qualitatively better and nor have close averages.

How do you decide quality though. Is Miller definitely better on quality than a Hazlewood or Gillespie?

Fielding is a tertiary skill.

It is not even a secondary skill.

If we are picking cricketers based on secondary and tertiary skill; then Jacques Kallis should be picked ahead of Sachin Tendulkar or Viv Richards.
Why is slip fielding not a secondary skill? These are the semantics I was speaking of when some claimed I was making it up.

It's very much a specialist position, even if a neglected, and here, disparaged one. Players have been selected purely for their ability to field in the cordon. And why? Because if it doesn't function, the team can't win.

And Viv Richards is an ATG slip btw. One of the 3 best 3rd slip fielders I've ever seen.
