Lot of people who are asked to compare two great cricketers like this, generally get affected by either recency bias (like putting Bumrah no 1) or general stature of the player or nostalgia bias. So it's really hard to say just how much do you value it.
Peer rep in cases where 2 people actually played together for majority of their career is generally more reliable.

Even on CW, Worrell ranked 3-4 spots higher than Kanhai in the 2024 poll, his career average is higher and Worrell was averaging 53~ a few games before retirement, Worrell's career average is higher, his average in West Indies is substantially higher, his average in England is higher, his average in India when he toured with commonwealth XI was 70+ though Kanhai did face better bowling in 1966-67 but had better support too. There is nothing outlandish about my opinion.

I don't think it's outlandish. But me having Kanhai over Weekes and Walcott isn't outlandish either.
