International Regular
If I could start Boland, I would start him over Prasidh who likes most likely to be starting for us on the 20th.
The Reason he doesn't play is because he simply is not good enough, the one time they tried him in Ashes, it went horribly. Boland has been playing for a decade and didn't even sniff internationals until Australia started producing green seamers because as I said, he is like Sajid Khan, or Noman Ali, he is effective on certain pitches but when he has gone out of his comfort zone, he's basically nothing. It's like hyping up Noman Ali as a starting pick for South Africa because he got wickets on greenhouse amped Pakistani wickets. The only reason why Boland doesn't play more is because Australia has Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood ahead of them. Other nations don't have that. You're judging him off 2 bad games in Eng and 1 bad game in Ind (total 3 games) which doesn't make any sense. He's quite accurate and can extract good movement and bounce from any surface. He would probably get done bad on the pakistani roads, but so would most bowlers in the world. Doesn't mean he won't start for others
Must be glad you're not the Indian selector. If I could start Boland, I would start him over Prasidh who likes most likely to be starting for us on the 20th.
Now if you imply Krishna>Boland...... That's going a bit farMust be glad you're not the Indian selector.
The reason he doesn't play is because Starc is Australia's third best pacer. No other nation's third best pacer comes remotely close to that. He's good enough to start for others, he's of course not as good as Starc or Hazlewood. He did pretty well in the WTC final in England when they tried him!The Reason he doesn't play is because he simply is not good enough, the one time they tried him in Ashes, it went horribly. If he manages to average anything less than 45 on English Wickets or in away conditions, he's better for these conditions, have Boland ahead for home domination or whateverNow if you imply Krishna>Boland...... That's going a bit far
Starc is a Brett Lee level Red ball Bowler so that in itself is pretty bad but regardless, Come back when Boland manages to get his away average less than 50, until then he's a condition specialist in the same category as your Sajids, Nomans, Cartwrights and so forth. The reason he doesn't play is because Starc is Australia's third best pacer. So if anyone avgs 8 with the ball in a single match, he's the greatest bowler of all time, and if he goes wicketless never play him again. That's what you're saying basicallyIf he manages to average anything less than 45 on English Wickets or in away conditions, he's better for these conditions, have Boland ahead for home domination or whatever
Again, it's wild to suggest that based on his 3 GamesIf he manages to average anything less than 45 on English Wickets or in away conditions, he's better for these conditions, have Boland ahead for home domination or whatever
Ummmm..... WtfStarc is a Brett Lee level Red ball Bowler so that in itself is pretty bad but regardless, Come back when Boland manages to get his away average less than 50, until then he's a condition specialist in the same category as your Sajids, Nomans, Cartwrights and so forth.
A Strawman from your end, can you post one performance from Boland that should make me think he is anything but a 52 averaging bowler outside his zone of comfort? So if anyone avgs 8 with the ball in a single match, he's the greatest bowler of all time, and if he goes wicketless never play him again. Only if Narayana was here..... He would never stand such Boland slander.A Strawman from your end, can you post one performance from Boland that should make me think he is anything but a 52 averaging bowler outside his zone of comfort?

It wasn't after the first 2 games though was it?Anderson's away average is Bradmanesque to Boland.
Ah, in the country where he averages 48, very impressiveUmmm the WTC final?
At that point I wouldn't be deepthroating him and overrating him based on imaginery performances that's for sure.At that point you surely would have just said drop him and never play him again?
So basically you'll just keep repeating the away avg point every time, which is based of off 4 gamesAh, in the country where he averages 48, very impressive
