He played 2 other games in England dude.... And bowled 17 overs for 34 runs in a single innings in IndiaAh, in the country where he averages 48, very impressive

Yeah, because that's Boland's whole career outside his comfort zone, 4 games and the average of 52 and never being a possible pick.So basically you'll just keep repeating the away avg point every time, which is based of off 4 games
If he plays more maybe I'd raise him, if he performs, if he doesn't then condition specialist he remains, I don't know what's so hard to comprehend. He played 2 other games in England dude.... And bowled 17 overs for 34 runs in a single innings in India
Robinson doesn't get picked because of the online post he made many years ago.Robinson doesn’t even get picked in the second string for England (behind Josh Tongued. Borland is the first alternate bowler for Australia after Mitch Starc
Yes! I wouldn't say he'd become a great bowler or anything, but surely not as bad you're implying Boland to be.@capt_Luffy @Thala_0710 Let's say Anderson retired here, would either of you come out to say "it's just 7 games! you can't judge him on 7 games!"
How is Sajid Khan tier a bad bowler? it's classic horses for coursesYes! I wouldn't say he'd become a great bowler or anything, but surely not as bad you're implying Boland to be.
He averages 32 at Home, instead of 12; 39 overall for 20.@capt_Luffy @Thala_0710 Let's say Anderson retired here, would either of you come out to say "it's just 7 games! you can't judge him on 7 games!"
no he doesn’t get picked up because he’s a useless fat joker. He’s been picked many times since that post happened and dropped because he can’t maintain basic fitnessRobinson doesn't get picked because of the online post he made many years ago.
so your argument for Boland doing well away is his brilliance at home? mhm, makes complete senseHe averages 32 at Home, instead of 12; 39 overall for 20.
Nobody said Boland isn't good in Australia. Another Strawman from you, please learn how to have a conversation without going off the rails 20 timesOh it'll be so much fun to come back to this when Root is getting his ass handed to him by Boland over and over again at the end of the year
He's a problematic character, his fitness shouldn't be a real issue if his performance is good, and he bowled well in the 2023 Ashes even on flat pitchesno he doesn’t get picked up because he’s a useless fat joker. No, my argument is clearly he had 3 (more like 2) poor games away and did exceptionally well at home. 4 games scattered around 3 Series is way too small a sample size to pass judgement upon. Do you think Murali would have averages 75 in Australia had he played 2 more full 5 match Series at peak including 2 games at SCG there???so your argument for Boland doing well away is his brilliance at home? mhm, makes complete sense
I can only judge him on that 75 average in Australia. As I said, he's not in the opening XI of any team in the world except Australia and South Africa. No, my argument is clearly he had 3 (more like 2) poor games away and did exceptionally well at home. 4 games scattered around 3 Series is way too small a sample size to pass judgement upon. I mean look at the nameless scrubs who bowl for India and England (except Bumrah). You can’t look at some tiny sample size outside and say he’s not better than all of them. like who the hell is gus Atkinson or Josh tongue or Prasidh Krishna. Even their names sound like people who play in county second XIsI can only judge him on that 75 average in Australia.
