Also accuracy isn't worth so much when batsmen are trying to line you up and hit you. You're going to be trying to land the ball at different spots each delivery, so having really well grooved muscle memory to keep dropping it at the same spot (like offspinners in Tests) isn't good.

Yeah, Warne only returned to play the 3 match ODI series between Australia and World XI which turned out to be a massive flop tournament.
Nah Warne's ODI comeback was for the Tsunami ODI charity match. Never played for Australia after the 2003 World Cup (which was going to be his final ODI tournament but for....you know)
