Better test bowler?

I'm not the one to jump to insults immediately, You do, at no point did I insult Ashwin in the thread with a prejudiced remark for example. In a debate, I like responding to everything, if it's not convineant for you then that is not my problem, I don't remember @subshakerz complaining. You critiquing my quality as a poster when I contributed to the thread by discussing one of the participants in detail, while you did nothing but make a prejudiced comment, is just another example of how much you lack self awareness.
Your behaviour elsewhere doesn't get a pass the one time you somewhat try to be okay here.

Anyway, I still don't see how Bedser's a better bowler. That Ashwin takes more wickets per Test while having a similar average with spin vs Bedser's pace doesn't make a great case for Bedser. Think his home record is also overlooked despite how great it is.

Back at you.
But it's not just me critiquing you, Luffy and Sayon are asians and even they found your comment prejudiced. Growing as a person require taking accountability for your short comings, I hope you realise that

I'm referring to how you behave in general. That you would pretend like it's all okay for you to behave like **** while jumping on me is baffling. You're barely a tolerable poster on the best of days.
In my experience you can be unnecessarily combative in your approach. Just cool it down or disengage if you can't agree.

I’m actually very close on this one because I rate the 1950s very highly as a cricketing era (unlike the 1960s)

They don't behave like you. There's a difference.
Why does that mean anything?
I think spinners being successful is more impressive because of how effective pacers can be in general.

Should be saying that to Johan.

The fact you're refraining from engaging further is strange tbh, finally we were getting on track.

is there any bowler-batsman where the bowler is as severely tormented by a batsman as Bedser by Bradman? his acerage is raised by 3 whole points by the Don games, which is ridiculous. Numbers when Bradman wasn't playing are starkly better than otherwise.

Regardless, Bradman rated Bedser as the best seam bowler he saw, an opinion shared by Neil Harvey who announced Bedser the best bowler he ever faced. An Opinion Denis Compton would also partially share.
