The curious thing about this list is that Mills wasn't really that impactful in World Cups though I guess the difference in wickets per match for Shami and Mills can tell that story

Shami is awesome. I am a big critic of his bowling and I do think he often goes missing when the pressure is on but guy also plays through severe pain and injuries for the country (2015 WC and 2023 WC) and he definitely deserves this honor before he called it a day. I wanna hope we can win the WTC as well before he retires but that seems more of a pipe dream.
