AB has proven many times his temperament in pressure situations in Tests. Both of their temperament succeeded in two different ways.
One was clearly significantly superior in both the things I stated and you know that well. Or you would rather have me bringing up some fast IPL Dravid scored and hit a reverse scoop 4??

The poll was about who is talented not who is better in any particular criteria. AB was in crease at 12/3 against India. He counter attacked in the seaming and bouncing wicket. I don't think Dravid can do that. And in next series vs Australia, he did the same when Aussies were reverse swinging the ball and having South Africa trailing at 188/6 in one stage. Dravid might have done one or two here and there in white ball against decent attack not against such high potent attack on challenging wickets. AB's versatility in Tests is enough to prove how talented he was. Dravid has more accomplished Test career than AB but it has nothing do with talent.

the more talented player has the more accomplished career, by definition.

LMAO 😅. Don't come and say Ponting is more talented in ODI than Sachin because the former has accomplished ODI career.
You seem to be confusing team accomplishment with player accomplishment. Brett Lee won 16 straight tests. Bumrah hasn’t even accomplished a third of that. Doesn’t make Lee more accomplished.

Well for one talent is useless without output. And a large majority of people rate Dravid over de Villiers.

But anyway as I’ve previously said, I don’t think AB was born with any natural ability over Dravid. All the skills a batsman (in particular) needs can be learnt and aren’t a result of some innate ability. (unless someone has say, exceptional eyesight, though in fact many great batsmen have had poor/lower than average eyesight anyway).

Bowling one could argue height would be natural talent to help, but Marshall and Steyn were of an average height and are two of the best 5 pacers ever. Hyperextension one could argue, as well as Murali’s situation.
You think reflexes and hand eye coordination are learnt?

I used to think this was mostly talent plus some practice and nothing much else. Then I walked into schools in Australia and saw how almost every kid plays this handball thing from a very young age and I no longer think that.
Man I miss handball. Always felt more like a game designed to develop tennis skills tho.
