Players better/much better in international cricket than domestic

Don't imagine there'll be many NZers who apply for this thread.
Andrew Jones and John F Reid, Jeremy Coney, Mark Richardson.

Apart from Reid, guys who debut or establish themselves (Coney) late in their careers.

Jacob Oram and Scott Styris (batting at least) are another couple.

What's Bradman's first class average without tests? With tests it's just 96

92.42, pathetic.

Others on the topic of the thread would include Herbert Sutcliffe (51.95 vs 60.73) and Jack Hobbs (50.65 vs 56.94)

Noticed Collingwood today 40.56 in tests and 35.65 overall fc. By the way is there an easy way to remove test results from overall fc record on cricinfo or whenever? Obviously if you remove a test record from the fc stats in this scenario the gap between the averages becomes bigger so just wondering. I touched on this in the original post about Malan - removing his t20I record makes the gap greater

It's only 90 in the shield, the hack.
As others have noted, it was actually 110.20 in Shield cricket.

Where Bradman really falls down is when you look at his FC record outside of Test and Shield cricket - so other non-Shield state matches, matches against touring sides, invitational XIs, county matches on Ashes tours etc:

12,145 runs at 84.34.

He may as well not have even bothered showing up.

Makes his issue with Keith Miller seem even more irrational imo
