Bethell is a handy sixth bowler, but wouldn't want him/Jacks splitting four too often. Curran, Dawson, Rashid, Archer, Mahmood seems would be an ideal 7-11.

Windies thrashed us in the caribbean and now we've done the same to them in england, but cp to the top teams our bowling is still
a bit lightweight. 75 off the last 4 overs tad embarrassing even with short boundaries.

So glad Banton has put a stop to Livingstone stealing a living.
LL or Jacks at seven is a much of a muchness tbh. I'd rather take LL's bowling and think both of them are going to be streaky and usually will only come in very late in the mix. LL has usually blown his chances, particularly in tourneys.

He's a much better player than he's shown.

Just has muscles for brains. If he stopped trying to hit everything for six he'd be an important player in the England side.

Had his chance though, Jacks showed him right up in the 2nd ODI.

Fast starts, brutal finishes and no mercy

This is really impressive from England , this is not a bad attack that WI has put out , they have just been overwhelmed by the ferocity of the approach from England ..

Charles not even trying for the catch and then Rutherford pulling a muscle walking to pick up the ball Charles left off the ground is a pretty embarrassing 3 seconds for Windies cricket.

I'm liking Wood in this side. We need a good left armer who can move it back into the right hander like Willey or Topley. He's not even the worst number eleven and is nowhere near the test team.
