Unlucky for Permaul. Stranded on 90 not out. Looks like he bettered his FC highest score by 4 runs though.

Is Kevin Sinclair one of the 6 best red ball bats in the west indies RN. His batting has lowkey been improving for ages, but recently he made runs in his test debut against Australia on a very difficult pitch and now is the 3rd leading run scorer in the 4 day domestic stuff.

The most improved player in the West Indies. He was mostly a white ball player, then focused on the red ball stuff. His grandfather had a big role to play here. Throwdowns all day until the cows come home.

Witnessing a nice tight battle in the 4th innings here between Guyana and Barbados.

Barbados have started well in their pursuit of 343. They have put on 79 without loss in 12 overs. Zachary McCaskie is the aggressor with 54 off 40; Kraigg batting on 19 off 37

Motie and Sinclair operating from both ends.

Another one down!

Permaul again with the wicket of 1st innings century maker, Jonathan Drakes for a 2-ball duck.

What a turn of events. One wicket brings 3

Last 3 wickets fell for only 4 runs.
Need to get McCaskie out soon. Who joins him? Let's see...oh, it's our former #3 test batsman, Raymon Reifer

That's a top delivery from Nial Smith. A big inswinger caught Jason Holder trapped LBW.

That's clutch stuff. Are we gonna see a cliffhanger?

Nial Smith cleans up the tail. An impressive victory for our boys.

The table is wide open now with leaders, the Windward Islands Volcanos losing to the TT Red Force.

I have to say that this round of matches has been the most enterprising in recent times in the region. Windies red ball cricket feels like early 00s.

Just noticed Guyana are playing at Stanford Cricket Ground.

Surely that's not named after the crooked financier.

Its official name now is the Coolidge Cricket Ground, the headquarters of the Windies Academy.
Close to the airport, so they get lots of practice games

Really interesting discussion this. He batted at 5 today and scored another 74. He looks as good as any batsman on display this season.

I do get Steve Smith vibes from him, though obviously don't expect a test average of 58! I think he could be a middle order batsman for the test side in the not too distant future. He averages 37 in FC cricket and that is only going up. Could be 40 plus by the end of the season.
